Ghaffur Murtabak is set to conquer KL
Last but not least, if you are a murtabak aficionado, you would be happy to know that Penang's famous murtabak, Murtabak A. Ghaffur has opened a branch in KL. They even have a truck selling the murtabaks here. Look for the bright red truck and you'll get to buy generously filled murtabak rich with onions, egg and meat. If a normal sized one ain't enough and you fancy yours with extra meat, order the special (they don't bulk up the special with onions so the filling is pure meat and eggs). They even have murtabak kambing but they only make a limited number of them every day so call in advance if you'd like some.
Parking in Melawati can really test your patience so either come extra early (before 5pm) or go really late (around 7 pm) if you don't want to fight for parking.
